The Dale Hambridge Trio is a fresh, exciting collaboration of talented musicians hailing from the vibrant and diverse Bristol / Bath music scene. The trio was formed in 2008 when pianist Dale Hambridge decided to combine his favourite tunes (music by the likes of Robert Glasper, Fred Hersch, Chick Corea) with his favourite rhythm section. The result is an energetic and eclectic jazz trio, delivering a modern, predominantly fender rhodes driven sound with flair and great musicianship.

Dale Hambridge
Dale has been playing the piano since he was 7, and studied classical music up to the end of his degree, which he got from Trinity College of Music. While he was there he got himself into jazz and now plays professionally as a jazz / funk / soul / latin / electronica / DnB keyboardist all over the place, but especially around Bath, Bristol and London.
Mark Whitlam
Mark has been fortunate to study with Ralph Salmins and Dave Wickens and has a background in orchestral percussion, influencing his compositional and textural approach to the drum kit. He is a busy performer having played venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall to Glastonbury and has recently been appointed jazz specialist on the Drum Faculty at BIMM Bristol music college.
Roshan "Tosh" Wijetunge
Tosh started out as an engineer but quickly realised that he really should be playing bass. For several years he played electric bass in several salsa and latin projects, before finding jazz and the double bass. In 2005 he took the opportunity to study intensively at Taller de Musics school in Barcelona, and has since gone on to perform, record and teach prolifically in and around Barcelona, Bristol and Bath.
